Aleš Popovic
Ales Popovic is an Assistant Professor of Information Management at the Faculty of Economics - University of Ljubljana and visiting professor at ISEGI - University Nova in Lisbon. He lectures several courses at undergraduate and master's degree level. In 2010 he received the Young Professor Award of the year from University of Ljubljana. His current main research focuses on business intelligence and business process management. He is the (co)author of numerous international publications. He has collaborated in many applied projects in the areas of business process modeling, analysis and renovation, and in the area of business intelligence. |

Alexandre Canadas
Alexandre Canadas is the Head of Client Development for BNP Paribas Securities Services and Managing Director of the BNP Paribas Securities Services Lisbon Branch. He has 17 years of experience in financial services, 13 of which in Securities Services. Before joining Paribas in 1999, Alexandre worked in BCP, first on Sovereign and Financial Institutions Credit risk Department then in Non-resident Corporate Clients Division and finally in the Custody Department. Over the past 13 years he has strongly contributed to the development of the Portuguese capital market, by serving in all market workgroups and committees, being a well-known and recognized expert in the market and by the market authorities, and participants. He was involved in the launch of the Portuguese Local Clearing and Custody service and headed this activity for 9 years helping to lead BNP Paribas Securities Services to the top position in the market. |

Bruno Barroso
Bruno Barroso is a Syone Division Manager, responsible for managing Mobility, Enterprise Architecture, Development and Integration projects while contributing to technical and pre-sales activities for Syone’s offer in areas such as Enterprise Mobility and Enterprise Architecture. He has more than 8 years of experience working in a variety of projects with technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase ASE, .NET and Web development. He is also a Red Hat Certified Engineer and responsible for innumerous certified Sybase trainings both in Portugal and abroad. |

Flávio Geraldes
Flávio Geraldes is a Software Engineer graduated from Instituto Superior Técnico. Working as Syone Consultant he was able to work in several development projects. This gave him the oportunity to explore many methodologies. For the past 5 years he has been working with a major international comunication company where he’s responsible for the design and implementation of mobile information systems. |

Jérôme Argoud
Jérôme Argoud has 12 years of work experience in BNP Paribas: 5 years as project manager on strategic projects – SIG, 3 years as business project manager – CIB and 4 years as responsible of the IT Quality Assurance Network - BP2S London, Paris, Luxemburg, Chennaî, Madrid, Milan and Lisbon. He also has experience in appraisal team CMMi3, trainer on project management, quality assurance, business presentation and QA improvement team for BNP Paribas company. |

Jurij Jaklic
Jurij Jaklic is Full Professor in Business Informatics at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Faculty of Economics and an invited professor at ISEGI. He is presently head of the Business Informatics and Logistics Department. His main research interest is in the fields of business intelligence and business process management. He is (co)author of around 100 papers; many of them published in international scientific journals, such as Supply chain management, Information research, and Information Systems Management. He was involved in several consulting projects in the area of business intelligence and business process renovation. |

Mário Silva
Mário Silva is an Enterprise Architecture consultant at Syone. He has 4+ years of professional experience, having been part of challenging projects in a variety of sectors such as banking, insurance, construction, and public administration. He has deep knowledge of enterprise architecture metadata modeling and integration with Sybase PowerDesigner, while also having vast experience providing high-quality training to PowerDesigner end-users in Portugal and abroad. Mário has a Bachelor and Post-Graduate degree in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Master degree in International Management by ISCTE Business School. |

Marta Custódio
Marta Custódio has a degree in Chemical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico - Technical University of Lisbon. In her career she worked in the Department of Quality Control of Santos Barosa, in the department of information systems management of the BPI bank, also in the Altior - Engineering and Consulting, SA company and as a consultant at Sonaecom and AGAP2. Currently she is a local coordinator of the team Intellimatch and responsible for application support management at BNP Paribas Securities Services. Besides that, she is also responsible for training users internationally and integrating and training new team members. |

Matthieu Martin
Matthieu Martin started his 5th year at BP2S in the Quality Team, where he has been responsible for the Quality Center platform and Test Managers coaching since 2009. He started as a developer and went through different experiences in France and abroad. He realized that tests are as important as development. When the opportunity to work at helping teams in managing their tests showed up, he took it to improve his knowledge of this activity. |

Michael Djian
Michael joined BNP Paribas in France in 2001 as a business analyst on Legal Reconciliations, with installation and setup of the solution responsibilities. His outstanding performance led him to evolve its career as a project manager of multiple IT applications at BNP Paribas Securities Services. Concordantly, he took a greater challenge, by being designated Project Leader of development of the Nearshore IT Structure in Lisbon, where he is since 2007. Since September 2009 he is the Head of the IT department, managing 160 headcounts servicing all IT departments of BNP Paribas Securities Services in Lisbon. Michael has a Master 1 diploma in Finance, from the Université René Descartes. |

Nuno Pereira
Nuno Pereira is graduated in Informatics Engineering at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL). He is a Syone Project Manager with more than 4 years of experience on Sybase Database technologies. He has integrated projects in several portuguese banks as Sybase DBA where he has administrated Sybase ASE, Sybase Replication Server and Sybase IQ, being certified in Sybase Replication Server. He is responsible for several certified Sybase trainings in clients and also on the preparation of new Syone consultants. Currently he is working in BNP Paribas since 2011 as a Sybase senior developer. |

Ricardo Gonçalves
With a professional experience of over 14 years, of which 12 years in Database Administration, 6 years in Business Intelligence and 6 years in project management and team co-ordination. Worked in multinational companies in Portugal, United Kingdom and Brazil, in the sectors of telecommunications, finance, mining and consulting. Experience in functional analysis, Data Modeling (Power Designer), Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse systems (Informatica Power Center, IBM Cognos, Datastage, SAP Business Objects). Very experienced with performance analysis, infrastructure engineering, product management, and global distributed support models in 24/7. Advanced knowledge in large databases, database development, performance & tuning and administration (Sybase, Oracle Microsoft SQLServer). |

Ricardo Pedrosa
Ricardo Pedrosa is a Syone (previously Sybase) Division Manager responsible for the DataManagement division. He's certified in Sybase database technologies and has more than 10 years of experience in projects in Portugal and abroad using Sybase technology, namely, Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, Replication Server, Power Builder and more. Since the last 3 years his main focus is on project management and team coordination and currently he's a team leader in a development team in BNP Paribas and the responsible for the Syone consultant team in BNP Paribas. |
